I would have never expected a Dutch gathering in Timboon, Pieter! By the way which year and which boat did you come to Australia on? My Pieter came out in 1952 on the Fairsea. I came over in 1960 on the Zuiderkruis.

Pieter I would say that the perspective you outlined is the greatest ‘gift’ I have received from being part of the CRCA.. wonderful God glorifying truth… far, far more edifying than other aspects you alluded to recently under the banner of the new king (note the small ‘k’!) and ethnic backgrounds!! Good also that you referred to our brother Goldsworthy’s excellent work.. (wonder of he has Scottish background ……..)

I had a very NOT nice experience with a Haagse bus driver this morning. I asked a reasonable question – in Dutch, including ‘please’ and with gentle tone. He responded with a sarcastic “I’m not a taxi driver”. One can get sentimental about this place until those people called “The Dutch” get in the way!! I think they were draining a polder somewhere the day God gave out the polite gene.
